SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

DESCRIPTION:View in Store \n  \nTHE INTERFACE WARS\nThe reappearance of the Dronescourge is causing chaos on Antares. Their scavenging is spreading south: no longer are the Virai a problem confined to the interface between the PanHuman Concord and the Isorian Senatex. Now their depredations threaten the Algoryn Prosperate and the wider Determinate. \nAnd now the Ghar have intervened\, using the Virai to spread destruction amongst their human foes. The Virai have no master plan; they are merely following the line of least resistance. They do not care that the Ghar are deliberately sacrificing older vessels as carriers to spread the Dronescourge into more panhuman systems. And neither do the Virai care that the Ghar then send in their armies to purge the weakened planets of panhumanity. But the Ghar have found the Virai are harder to control than they realised. \nAll along the Determinate interfaces\, panhumanity is fighting for survival against the Ghar\, the Virai\, and frequently other factions in the same straits as themselves. \nThe Interface Wars have begun; only you can decide who wins. \nFACTION LEAGUE GAMES DAY\nWarlord Games HQ\, Lenton Boulevard\, Nottingham\, UK\nNG7 2BD (access via stairs only) \nA themed Antares Faction tournament in which the most successful faction wins the day. A variety of scenarios and only two army lists of 750 and 1250 points. Prior to the event\, each player will be told the scenarios and will have to choose their lists. But no one will know the three scenarios in which they will play\, so careful choice of lists is key! \nRegistration opens from 09:00 and prizegiving for best player\, best-painted army and painting competition at 18:00. \nThere will be a chance to buy Antares mugs in the shop\, attendees can also purchase Antares Event polo shirts. \nWarlord staff will be on hand to talk Antares and game designer Mr Rick Priestley will be around to talk to – be careful of his tactical advice! \nPlayers are advised to bring their own food and drink but there are shops nearby.
