SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

DESCRIPTION:1250 points – 3 Game Tournament \nWith the new Version 2 book out now\, this next tournament steps things up a gear.  Force restrictions are as follows: – Max 2 Platoons other than that follow generic or theater selections. \nGames: 3 games total \nRegistration 8.45 to 9am \n\nGame 1 (9:15AM-11:45AM)\nLunch 12:00 -12:30pm\nGame 3 (12:45 to 3:00PM\nGame 3 (3:15PM-5:30PM)\n\nAward Ceremony 5:45PM \nRules :We are using Rules as written from the main rule book version 2. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nA good Attitude!\nOrder dice are mandatory (suggest two sets if available)\, tape measure\, pin markers\, and abunch of D6.\nAn Army! (All miniatures must be WYSIWYG and have at least a basic paint job).\nA rule book and any errata or FAQ you may think is relevant \nTwo hard copies of your army list.\n\nMissions: \nStandard rule book missions will be randomly determined once all participants have registeredand submitted a list. Top secret will be excluded and the same mission will not be played twice. \nPoint Totals – \n\nPoints will be awarded as follows:\n5 points for scenario victory>\n3 Points for scenario draw\n1 Point for a scenario defeat\nUp to 3 Bonus Kill Points per game.\n\nTournament Organiser is the final judge for any issues involving interpretation of rules.
