SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

SUMMARY:Southampton Sluggaz Antares Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Well people\, this is it! Our first ever Tournament for “Beyond the Gates of Antares”. I will release a proper rules pack nearer the time with scenario rules\, but for now here is what you need to know. \nThis will be a 1\,000 point event over 3 games using the standard Faction Army lists (So no Vector formations etc…) Tournament Points will be awarded for the following:  \nMajor Win – 4 points\nMinor Win – 3 points\nDraw – 2 points\nMinor Loss – 1 point \nAn additional Tournament point will also be awarded for a prompt submission of your Army list and another for fully painted forces\, so take the opportunity to get painting your dudes and thinking about what you’ll be taking. I will publish the email address for army list submissions nearer the time.  \nPrize support is being provided by the lovely chaps at Warlord Games (Thanks Karl!) There will be prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place\, together with Most Sporting and the Best painted army as voted for by the players. Rumours of a humiliating Booby prize for last place are completely unfounded and should be ignored. \nThe event is being held at the Southampton Sluggaz club. The address is: St Denys Community Centre\, Priory Road\, St Denys\, Southampton\, Hampshire\, SO17 2JZ. There is free parking on site.  \nThe Tournament entry fee is £10.00 (Members of the Southampton Sluggaz club get the usual discounted rate down to £7.50) which will need to be paid in advance by Paypal to secure your place. The paypal email is southamptonsluggaz@gmail.com and you need to mark it as a friend/family transaction otherwise we get charged. You also need to note your name and that it is for the Antares Tournament.  \nThe time table is as follows:\n9:30 – 10:00 Arrival and Registration\n10:00 – 12:30 Game 1 (1k Points)\n12:30- 1:15 Lunch\n1:20 – 3:50 Game 2 (1k Points)\n4:00 – 6:30 Game 3 (1k Points)\n6:30 – 7:00 Awards presentation and heckling\n7:00 onwards Vast quantities of beer and food in Southampton (I’m not paying for that – bring your wallets!)  \nYou are welcome and encouraged to bring your own food and drink\, thought there is a strict no alcohol on site policy. There is an awesome pub just across from the hall which is where I will personally be invading for lunch and a beer. DESCRIPTION:The time has come! Join us at our friend Gordon Sampson‘s store in Manchester for a casual meet-greet tournament! \nBring a 500pt list and play 3 rounds. For a $5 entry fee everybody who plays all three rounds will receive a free paint and be entered to win a random draw of a $25 gift card. \nThis is going to be a super lowkey event\, if you are new to Bolt Action bring what you’ve got (500pts can be really low model count!) and the other players will be happy to show you the ropes\, and if you are interested but don’t have anything you can partake too and help pull dice out of the bags to keep players going and learn the game!
