SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

DESCRIPTION:SITE INFORMATION \nPudsey Civic Hall\, Dawson’s Corner\, Pudsey\, Leeds.  LS28 5TA\nVenue telephone number is: 0113 214 6110\nFree parking just past the hall (approx 300 spaces) \n  \nGETTING THERE \nBy car:\n(a) From the West (Leeds\, etc):  if you are coming from the M1/M621 and taking the A6110 Leeds Ring Road you ignore the left turning signs for Pudsey. Go on to the next major roundabout.  The Civic Hall is just off the Ring Road to the right off a major roundabout – on the old Leeds-Bradford Road. Landmark for that roundabout from the south is the Owlcoates Shopping Centre on your right ¼ mile before. There is also a slip road to Bradford to the left as you approach the roundabout. Take the third exit on the roundabout\, turn first left 20 yards along and the Hall is in front of you. \n(b) From the North (Harrogate\, Bingley\, etc):  coming south the A6120 Ring Road goes up a steep hill and you will see the Green Flag Building on the left.  Turn left and first left again to the Civic Hall. \n(c) From the East (Bradford):  coming from the A647 you will again see the Green Flag Building on the right across the roundabout so follow the Bradford road. \nBy train:\nNew Pudsey (Farsley) railway station is about 5 minutes walk away.  Connections at Leeds & Bradford (Interchange) – timetable. \nBy bus:\nThe main bus routes from Leeds\, Bradford and Halifax drop off on Bradford Road which is just outside the venue.  The bus services on the route are 72\, 508\, X6\, & 15.  Please consult your local operator for more detailed information and timetables or Leeds Bus Station.
