SUMMARY:Battle for Stalingrad!
DESCRIPTION:The Battle for Stalingrad is an immersive\, non competitive 2 day event which will see a total of 20 played scenarios chosen from Warlord Games’ Stalingrad and Case Blue campaign books. These Scenarios will involve steppe fighting before the siege of Stalingrad\, scenarios of the Soviet counteroffensive in the snowy\, frozen Winter of 43 and of course scenarios within the city where Germans and Soviets will fight for every inch on the game board. Iconic fights such as the Concrete Monolith and Pavlov’s house are among a long list of the many bloody battles that will be fought. \nFriuli War Games\, with this event\, is trying to organize a proper “Bolt Action Experience”. where players coming from all over Italy will feel immersed in these historic battles. The main goal if everyone to have as much fun as possible and to feel like they’re on the battle field with the (plastic) troops. With this mentality\, the group is looking to create a one of a kind event in Italy\, and to create a format which can be used for other campaigns in the future. We are working very hard to create the best quality tables and scenarios as possible\, to build a strong community for this more historical way of playing the beautiful game that is Bolt Action.  \nPictures and battle reports will follow the event…With Battle for Stalingrad we will be saying “goodbye V2 and welcome V3” as this event will be played using the V2 rules not having enough time to experiment with the new rules.

DESCRIPTION:Claymore 2014 Jun 6th\, 2014 \n\n\n\n\n\nScotland’s premier wargames show\, Claymore 2014\, will be held on Saturday 2nd August\, 2014\, at the Granton Campus of Edinburgh College\, 350 West Granton Road\, Edinburgh EH5 1QE. Doors will open to the public at 10.00am. \n \nFeatures \n\nDemonstration and Participation Games: As per usual at Claymore there will be a good selection of demonstration and participation games.\nTraders:Over 30 traders have been invited and some have confirmed they will be attending\, a list  can be found here.\nBring & Buy: Sell your second hand wargames stuff at our Bring and Buy stand. Save time by filling out the necessary sheets in advance if you download an Excel .xls file or an Adobe .pdf file  When filling out these forms you will need to give each sheet an individual number.   You can get these numbers in advance by emailing admin@seswc.co.uk.\n\nFacilities \n\nParking: There are 450 free spaces at the College. People coming to the show should not park in neighbouring Morrisons supermarket car park. If you’re there for more than three hours you will be fined.\nCatering: The college will be opening their catering outlets for the duration at the show.\nATM: a cash machine is available in Morrisons\, immediately next door to the College.
